The International Nippon Collectors' Club (INCC) was founded in 1982 by a group of Nippon enthusiasts with a vision to form an organization through which fellow collectors with a common interest in Nippon could exchange knowledge and share friendship. Little did they know that this once small group would expand to a membership representing virtually every state as well as Canada and Japan.

There is such diversity within Nippon-era porcelain that it takes years of study and information exchange to become what is referred to as a "knowledgeable collector." The INCC's primary goal is to provide its members an avenue by which this knowledge may be gained more quickly. Furthermore, as reproductions become more prevalent, the information you'll receive as a member will help you recognize these "fakes" more easily saving you money and anguish.

As an INCC member, you will receive a membership directory and bi-monthly publications. Our newsletter, the INCC News, contains much information on Chapter Club activities, auction results and many other informative articles. Our other publication, which alternates with the INCC News, is the INCC Journal. The INCC Journal is a high quality magazine containing color photographs of beautiful Nippon items, educational articles, profiles of fellow members and historical information on Nippon porcelain as well as other matters of interest to our members.

chapter clubs. These chapter clubs meet throughout the year in various members' homes to share ideas, new discoveries and friendships. The INCC comes together each year for the "Nippon Event of the Year" -- our annual CONVENTION. Hosted in a different region each year, this three day event is jam-packed with educational seminars, panel discussions and presentations. In addition, many INCC members bring items to sell.

The atmosphere is electric at our conventions as members walk the hallways stopping at rooms with open doors to visit with fellow collectors, share thoughts and ideas about Nippon or to look at the beautiful Nippon a fellow member has brought to sell. Other Convention highlights are our banquets and the ever-exciting day long auction!
